Trinidadian soca artist Onika Bostic is one female artist who continuously blesses soca lovers with music of a high caliber. At the age of 16, Onika became a member of the “Gem Radio” family, which broadcasts in Antigua & Barbuda, Trinidad & Tobago, Dominica, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, and The Leeward Islands.

In 1999, Onika Bostic was faced with a tough decision; she packed her bags at 19 and moved to the island of Antigua to join Burning Flames. Since then she has recorded many of the band’s biggest hits. Starting with the steamy ballad Aching, followed in 2000 by Mud Dung & Almost Naked. From 2002 Onika became a household name with the monster hit Mash It Up. Mash It Up enjoyed an incredible ride on the charts and captured the 4th runner up spot in the International Soca Monarch Competition.
