Onika Bostic is Gone

The Late Onika Bostic

Islandevents is sorry to announce the passing of Burning Flames lead female vocalist Onika Bostic.  Onika died at 9.30 pm (last night) of injuries sustained in a car accident recently.

Bostic was warded at the intensive care unit of the Port-of-Spain General Hospital in a critical condition after suffering serious cranial and spinal injuries in an early-morning car crash last Saturday. The five-car accident occurred at around 1am at the corner of Erica Street and Eastern Main Road, Laventille.

Onika's All Yours and her other hits have been in rotation on local radio stations as prayers and well wishes flowed in from all corners of the globe.

Rest in peace Onika you will be missed!
