Now, as Toney describes the tune, is "Rags, flags," "strictly party" and very up-tempo. Although this song marks Toney's first foray into writing a tune with tempo it was not all that foreign to him.
"For me, to be honest, I normally do more groovy tracks but my performance on stage is very high energy. I said if I am doing all of these songs with this energy level maybe the songs I release for this carnival are going to have to be up-tempo."
As for the actual assembly of tune, Toney explained that it was very smooth transition.
"Although it was my first time writing a fast song, the vibe was pretty natural to do in the studio because that's what I do most of the time when I'm on stage. It has never been that easy before. I think it's been easy because it's not something I had to learn it's something that I penned for myself. Shawn gives you that room to free up. And I said that I am going to make it as live as possible, I'm going to think like I'm on stage performing this track. That's how I got through doing the recording."
On the up-tempo Enter De Road, a tune penned by Jason Lee and produced by Shawn Noel, Toney sings in the hope of seeing "more unity and togetherness" in Trinidad & Tobago and in the world on the whole.
"We as a people have to take back our land because our land is not ours- it's being taken over by crime and murder. We need to set an example; we need to take control! Let's a make a change- we need to!"
