Soca Broadway, the newest fete venue in Port-of-Spain, will kick open its doors on January 1 with a fete that features top drawer soca artistes Shurwayne Winchester and his band Traffick, Roy Cape Kaiso All Stars and Bunji Garlin and the Asylum.

KMC's Red, White and Black and Invazion are the bands also inked to appear at the Hasely Crawford venue.

Iwer George, managing director of Soca Bookers which handles Soca Broadway, said the venue is geared towards taking soca music to a new stage for the upcoming Carnival season. George is also the owner of the Point Fortin-based fete venue Property.

Tickets for Soca Broadway's inaugural fete are now on sale at leading outlets in the country.
