Digicel one of the mobile telecommunications provider in St. Kitts and Nevis has launched it's first ever Digicel Freedom Concert.

The concert will be held to mark the celebration of the Federation's 23rd  year of Independence and will feature the sounds of Reggae's "Royal Family" Morgan Heritage.

The concert will be free of charge and will take place at the Frigate Bay grounds on Monday, September, 18th.

At a press conference Digicel revealed their plans of the concert that they dubbed "a gift to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis".

"It is called freedom concert and in fact as we celebrate we are in fact celebrating what Independence really means to us,"said Kevin Edwards, Market Manager of Digicel. "Digicel is delighted to share this promotion with our corporate partners and as we all share and support this momentous occasion in the history of St. Kitts-Nevis."

The concert will also feature local artists such as the reining monarch Konris Maynard, Nu Vybes Band and the Ultra Sonics Band out of Nevis.
