BET J is deepening its partnership with the travel and tourism industry.

The network will air a three-part reality mini-series set aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, this month.

Produced by actress Kim Fields with executive producers BET J and Dianne Williams, Royal Caribbean International's manager of multicultural marketing, the mini-series marks BET J's debut into reality shows targeting the African-American and multicultural adults.

Starring music notables Dave Hollister and Lalah Hathaway as well as Kim Fields herself, A Royal Birthday is the story of four African-American girlfriends on the ultimate girls' getaway - a Royal Caribbean cruise - celebrating the birthday of one of the girls. With each episode, the storylines unfold with love, life, adventure, self-exploration, lots of fun and loads of drama on board and onshore.

BET J is the flagship channel of BET Digital Networks, a subsidiary of BET Networks and Viacom, Inc. Born from the historic BET Jazz Channel, BET J is a music, entertainment, lifestyle and multicultural hybrid that melds classic and contemporary jazz with vintage soul, classic R&B, festive Caribbean music and today's neo-Soul
