Michael Jackson will receive a Diamond Award during this year's World Music Awards ceremony in London on November 15th.

The coveted award is given to artists who sell more than 10 million albums. Jackson's attendance is being billed as both a milestone and comeback as the global superstar is slated to perform his 1982 worldwide hit, "Thriller," for the first time in many years.

Thriller won eight Grammy Awards and went on to become the best selling album of all time according to the Guinness Book of World Records, selling over 50 million copies -- 28 million in the US alone. Along with the title track, the record breaking album includes hits "Billie Jean" and "Beat It."

Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to host this year's event at Earl's Court Arena with performances by Beyonce and Mary J. Blig,e among others. The World Music Awards select winners based on the strength of their worldwide record sales.

Jackson, who recently relocated to Bahrain since he was acquitted of child molestation charges in June 2005, is also set to release the box set Visionary - The Video Singles (Epic/Legacy) on November 17th . The set will include 20 DualDisc singles; each with an exact replica of the original 7" or 12" artwork.
