In the midst of a major east coast US tour that spans from Ithaca to the Carolinas, reggae sensation Richie Spice graced the stage of New York City's own S.O.B.'s in Manhattan with a full house of nearly 500 fans on Tuesday night, April 17th.

The one and only Actress / Singer / Comedian Bette Midler was among the many, who jammed to Richie's full set. Richie opened up with classic hits like, 'Blood Again' and 'Marijuana' and led into more current tunes like, 'Brown Skin' and 'Youth Dem Cold' from his new critically acclaimed album 'In The Streets To Africa'.

Since the release of 'In The Streets To Africa', Richie has remained on everyone's radar. A+ and 4 star reviews are all across the board from Playboy Magazine to The Los Angeles Times to Spin Magazine. Richie's new single 'Brown Skin' has spent 4 weeks at #1 on several charts in Jamaica and the 'Blackheart' remix (on the Musiq Soulchild's 'Buddy' riddim) video will be released next week. His other hot single 'Youth Dem Cold' is currently at rotation on MTV Jams.

Richie has also been nominated for Recording Artist(s)/Group of the Year, Best Male Vocalist, and Most Cultural/Educational Entertainer at this year's 26th International Reggae Awards held on May 8th at Harlem's Apollo Theatre.
