Krosfyah’s new album “Fireproof” is a testament to the trials they had faced to reach during their seventeen year existence.
The eight-member band that copped the coveted Band of the Year title at this year's Barbados Music Awards is making the point with the new album which is filled with uptempo songs that are already heating up the airwaves for Crop-Over.
Lead singer and Entertainer of the Year Edwin Yearwood said “There are trials and tribulations we have gone through that people don't even know about, but the people are enjoying our music, and that's what's important. We went through the fire, came out and have stood the test of time.”
He noted that the main thing that kept the group focused was their love of soca music and people. "We've always been there with the people and not above the people," he added, noting that the six tunes dropped on local stations recently were designed to appeal to people across varying age groups.
Edwin is offering the introspective “Where I Want To Be” and “Feels Like Home,” and Tony "Rebel" Bailey is singing “All My Life,” featuring TC; while the real party numbers for the youngsters are “Bashment Bacchanal” and “Bumper Buffet” by Khiomal, and Adrian
Duchin's “Impossible.”
