Kes the Band has just released their first offering for the 2008 Carnival season; the mid-paced, groovy style Soca tune is entitled 'Right Dey.’

The track was written and produced by Kes the Band in collaboration with Julio Nelson and mastered by Loritz Lidlow.

"Right Dey! is simply a feel good song that we felt was needed at this present time. A tune that people can sing and 'chip dong de road' Tuesday afternoon with. As always we just wanted to add our take on Soca to the Carnival; Good Vibes, Good People, Good Times", band leader Hans Dieffenthaller shared.

According to Hans, the band is not only preparing great new music, but is also assembling some major surprises for their upcoming shows. "This year, as with every year we are working on really dynamic and entertaining live shows for Carnival '08. We brought in Flava Flav for Carnival '07. His appearance brought together our 'Time to Love Tour' and this year we have a new concept with some really great surprises."

Kes is already pencilled in for a jam packed Carnival 2K8 season and promises not to disappoint fans. "Our main goal has always been to entertain the fans and patrons of any event so that they always feel they got their money's worth and that they leave the party wanting to come see us again. As well this is the year of the FAN. We are working on some great FAN driven projects for 08. People hunger for that mind-blowing party experience and we have the 'Remedy' for those hunger pains." exclaimed Hans.
