The music of the late great Bob Marley kept seventeen-year-old Stefan Tulner of the Netherlands alive during his battle with cancer and recently Tulner saw his dream come true as he got to visit Bob Marley's homeland.
Stefan's vacation came courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, SuperClubs and the Jamaica Tourist Board. His Henli, and younger sister Evelin also came along for the momentous occasion.
The teen said Marley's songs kept him going, especially during his illness and the thrice-weekly visits for chemotherapy, his hope was kept alive because of the music. His favourite song is Trench Town Rock.
Another of the teenager's wishes was to be photographed between two palm trees while in Jamaica.
Stefan's father, said his son was diagnosed with the illness, in 2005 and has been out of school for the last year because of it.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is an international body that attempts to grant wishes to terminally ill persons worldwide.
