Iron Man Defeats Competition For 2nd Straight Week

Iron Man has held off rival in the North American box office chart, remaining at number one for a second weekend.

The action film, starring Robert Downey Jr, beat new entry Speed Racer with takings of $50.5m, compared to $100m in its opening weekend.

Comic caper What Happens In Vegas, starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher, made its debut at three.

While romantic comedy Made of Honour took in $7.6m with Baby Mama rounding off the top five with $5.8m
