Jamaican selecta Rolexx is taking his career to the next level. Rolexx has become more and more popular in Jamaica as well as internationally as a member of the Bembe Squad and since Bembe is now an international party phenomenon with regular dances also in Grand Cayman, Fort Lauderdale and Japan. Rolexx and the other top selectas who are part of the squad are sought after all over the world.

Rolexx will be leaving the island to head to Tokyo, Japan before the end of July to sign a management deal with the Japanese company MIWA. He is currently reviewing this major contract with his lawyer.

MIWA also represents the new act Mccowan as well as various Japanese artistes. The company is starting to work with Jamaican talents due to the amazing popularity and success of Jamaican reggae and dancehall in Japan. Especially dancehall and street dances are very popular and Jamaican artistes, selectas as well as dancers tour Japan regularly.

Rolexx has travelled and played internationally throughout his career but has never pushed himself to the fore. When asked why he does not seek to be always at the forefront, Rolexx says that he is not in the music business for the hype but his
focus is rather on the business side of the game.

Rolexx does not need to run after any hype. He has built a solid career founded on skills and his popularity is still rising every day. With an international management deal and major representation in Japan there is no limit in sight.
