Barbados Tourism and MAGNA Offer Travel Rewards for Trinis

The Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA) is aiming to increase arrivals from Trinidad and Tobago through a new rewards programme that will see LIAT passengers earning MAGNA Rewards.
This confirmation came from business development manager, Caribbean & Latin America, Stacey Hutchinson, who explained, "The promotion has been designed as a pilot project with strategic partners LIAT and Magna Rewards. Initially, the goal of the promotion will be to stimulate travel to Barbados out of Trinidad for the trough period September 5 - October 31."
Consumers out of Trinidad & Tobago booking airline seats on LIAT over the period September 1-13 will earn US $75.00 worth of MAGNA points, which can be redeemed at any of MAGNA’s partner companies upon their return to Trinidad, so long as they produce the relevant travel documentation.
Additionally, consumers taking advantage of the offer will be eligible for a final draw at the end of the travel period for a complimentary dream Barbados holiday for two, including airline tickets on LIAT; three nights accommodation inclusive of breakfast compliments The Crane; a rental car compliments Courtesy Rent-A-Car and tours for two compliments Atlantis Submarines, Ocean Park Barbados and Barbados Concorde Experience.
Advertisements featuring the “Barbados Breakaway Bonus” will appear in all three major newspapers: Trinidad Guardian, Trinidad Express and Newsday.
The promotion will also be heavily advertised on the radio and on TV.
Travel to Barbados must be completed during the period September 5-October 31, 2008.
