Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on you:

My primary school teacher, he was instrumental in my academic success as we as instilling the basic values and morals that have helped me to remain grounded.

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from being in this pageant) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?

The most interesting thing about me is that I am half Indian (Trinidadian) and half African (Ghanaian); I was raised in Trinidad and have worked in Europe. Therefore I have cultural influences from three major continents and the Caribbean. To top it off I was born on New Year’s Day and was in the newspapers as the first baby born in the New Year.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?

I have already accomplished my first set goal i.e. to become qualified in my chosen field. My new goal is to gain as much experience as possible in order to one day own my own business (Surveying Firm) or to work in Government (Ministry of Development/Environment)

List any special talent you may have:

Accents- you should hear me switch to an English Accent
Flexibility – My flexibility from Yoga may be considered an obscure talent

What one world describes you best?

Motivated

What is your life motto?

I have two!
“Together we aspire together we achieve”. Our country’s motto serves as a great reminder for me especially when working in a team- common goal.
If at First you succeed – Try Again
Sounds a bit cliché but this helps to keep me motivated.

What is your pageant platform?

I would use this pageant to promote any cause that helps the advancement of education. Beginning with the raising of funds to rebuild the Palo Seco Senior Secondary School, which is my old secondary school, which was recently destroyed by fire.

Who is your favourite local personality/celebrity and why?

Wendy Fitzwilliam (for obvious reasons!)
She is an inspiration to young women. She is talented, focused professional, beautiful- A total person and an ideal role model.
