Q: How safe will I be in the section?
A: The band will be restricted to only our masqueraders to ensure that there are no stragglers around. Security will be managed by Richard Woodruffe, a former member of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard who is strictly no-nonsense when it comes to security and safety issues. We will be providing security in a ratio of 10:1. That means that for every 10 masqueraders, we will have one security official. All of our security will undergo screening, training and briefing sessions prior to Carnival to ensure they are ready and able to provide the level security that is so important to us. Having gone all out to provide the best, we want to ensure that you enjoy your Carnival HASSLE FREE.

Q: How will I know where the band is if I miss the start time?
A. We know that some of our masqueraders like to “sleep late” and we have a number of options to facilitate them. Of course our Soca Shuttle will always be on hand to bring you directly to the section. Also, tune into Ebony 106 FM for regular radio updates on the whereabouts of the band throughout the course of Carnival Monday and Tuesday.

Q: Do I have to stay in my section?
A. We ask that you stay in your section for the judging points, but outside of that you are free to roam up and down the band – we know you have friends down the line and we're all one happy family moving throughout the streets of Port of Spain . Drink from any bar and jump to the music from any of our 6 listening points. Even our bars will be wired for music!

Q: Who is performing with IslandEvents.com?
A. While we do not have a live band that will be on the road for both days, we will feature a number of live performers as we have in the past. This year we intend to have a number of surprise soca artistes and DJs performing on the road with our band.
