Isaac Blackman is the dynamic, youthful and versatile leader of the twenty-nine-year-old family band, The Love Circle, Trinidad and Tobago’s Royal Family of Music.
Last son of the late Ras Shorty I, inventor of Soca and Jamoo music, Isaac has headlined major music festivals in the Caribbean and concerts in parts of North America and Europe.
Today at LoveMedia 1.0, the twenty-five-year-old Executive of JGN Records, is happy celebrate the launch of two items, his first website www.isaacblackman.com and that of his music video Old School Love, which shares a breathtaking ballad on pure and genuine love from the soundtrack of the upcoming Damian Marcano film, “Shanty”.
Isaac Blackman, whose hit song “To The Ceiling” is still making waves worldwide, is the recipient of five 2007 Trinidad and Tobago Gospel Awards, including Album of The Year and Overall Male Artist of The Year. In addition to which he won COTT’s 2007 award for Gospel of The Year, and had earlier received the Best Recording Overseas Artiste award from the prestigious 2006 Flame Awards of Barbados.
