Bovell Secures Spot In The Men's 50-Meter Freestyle Semis

George Bovell III has qualified for the semi-final round of the Men's 50-Meter Freestyle which takes place at 8:30p.m. local time at the Water Cube, in Beijing China.

Bovell secured his spot with a blistering time of 21.77 seconds, just two days ago the 25 year-old swimmer was unsucessful in his bid to qualify for the Men's 100-Meter Freestyle event.

Meantime, his younger brother Nicholas was also unable to secure a spot in the Men's 200-Meter Individual Medley. He clocked a time of 2:03.90 placing him in 30th spot overall.
